What is Feng Shui?
Feng Shui comprises of the non-obvious natural forces that exist in our environment, both the seen and unseen forces (elements) that interact either positively or negatively with each other. Feng Shui literally means Wind & Water, an ancient Chinese science; an art of living and working in a harmonious environment receiving beneficial influences that affect our life, health, love, business and prosperity.
The Chinese have been practicing Feng Shui for around 5,000 years, some suggest the practice of Feng Shui is even older. Many of the ancient Chinese Emperors consulted Feng Shui Masters to ensure continued leadership stability, in addition to leveraging their family's reign, harmony and prosperity.
There are things we can't hear, see, smell, touch or taste that affect us all. And yet our senses are very much involved in the environmental experiences, in physical ways, emotionally and even financially by these unseen influences. All environments are affected by Time and Space, a term often referred to as Feng Shui. Place yourself in a healthy, happy environment and you'll be affected by positive influences. The reverse of which is true, if we don't enjoy our environment, then we are more likely to experience negative influences.
Feng Shui is based on a complex set of profound theories and calculations of the physical reactions among the natural environmental elements and their interaction with Chi (energy) and the Earth's electromagnetic fields.
